Kairvane helps you find jobs, build resumes and see who you know at the companies you apply to. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password, or the basic profile (name, email, photo) shared by Google or LinkedIn when you sign in with them.
- Career profile: the resume, experience, skills, target roles and preferences you upload or enter.
- Contacts, only if you choose to connect them: names, email addresses, employers and profile links from your Google Contacts, or a LinkedIn connections file you upload.
- Usage: jobs you save, apply to or dismiss, and basic server logs needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
- To match you with relevant jobs and generate tailored resumes.
- To show which of your contacts work at a company you are considering, so you can ask for a referral.
- To run, secure and improve Kairvane.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with other users. Your contacts are visible only to you.
Google user data
If you connect Google, we request your basic profile to sign you in and, only when you ask to import contacts, read-only access to your contacts to find people at companies you are targeting. Kairvane's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to train AI models.
Where your data lives
Kairvane runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS and stored on encrypted volumes with daily backups.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and remove imported contacts at any time in the app.
- You can revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and LinkedIn access in your LinkedIn settings.
- To export or permanently delete your account and data, email us and we will complete it within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove it from the live system right away and from backups within 30 days.
Children
Kairvane is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make material changes we will update this page and notify you by email or in the app.
